Repair Cafe
@ re:Centre Lancaster

Every 3rd Sunday of the month
11 am – 3 pm

Sewing Café Lancaster will be at re:Centre Repair Cafe lending our mending knowledge and bringing the supplies for darning, hand-mending and at least 1 sewing machine.

If you know how to mend, just come for the encouragement to “get through the pile.” If you don’t know what to do, they will provide instruction and assistance!

(If you need something like a zipper replaced, please bring one from a haberdashery – most will not be open Sunday morning and we might not have exactly what you’re looking for).

Also on offer, depending on the volunteers:
Bike Tune Ups
Small Household Electrical Repair
Software and IT support
Kids corner. There will always be space for kids to get creative, parent supervision required

The Scrapshop will be OPEN (and operating like a carboot sale – if you want something, let us know!)

We’re looking for:
Someone to PAT Test for our household electronics
Someone to sharpen scissors (and knives?)

Anyone with skills they’d like to volunteer!
Please get in touch if you’re willing and able to help: recentre.lancs@gmail.com

Accessibility: Unfortunately, we’re located on the 1st floor and do not have a lift
